Talkward × WooCommerce
AI customer service for WooCommerce
The “Talkward for WooCommerce” plugin sends orders and customers from your store to Talkward, connected with one click and with no trouble from Cloudflare or firewalls. The AI answers order questions in the chat widget, by email and WhatsApp, your team takes care of the rest.
Sound familiar? Three moments from everyday WooCommerce life.
WordPress can do a lot, but customer service usually means: mailbox, order list, copy and paste.
The chatbot knows the store, but not the order.
Many chat plugins answer questions about shipping times. At “Where is #1042?” the conversation ends with “Please contact support”.
WooCommerce › Orders › Search › copy tracking number.
The same path through the WordPress backend for every shipping question. Two minutes, while the customer waits in the chat.
The bot protection blocks the helpdesk.
Cloudflare, Wordfence or the host’s firewall reject requests from data centres. The helpdesk sees no order, the vendor says “needs whitelisting”, the host says “not possible”.
Talkward replies with the order status from WooCommerce, around the clock, in the customer’s language. The plugin sends the data itself, no bot protection gets in the way.
How the integration worksThe store sends, Talkward never asks.
The “Talkward for WooCommerce” plugin reverses the direction. Instead of Talkward querying your store, the store sends every new or changed order to Talkward, signed and within seconds. On connecting it syncs the orders of the last 90 days once. All connections start from your store, so it works behind Cloudflare and any firewall.
Connect with one click
Click “Connect with Talkward” in WordPress, pick the brand in Talkward, done. The plugin exchanges the key itself, you type nothing.
No bot protection in the way
Talkward never calls your store. Cloudflare, Sucuri, Wordfence or host firewalls do not need to whitelist anything.
Read only, create nothing
Talkward keeps a copy of the orders (number, status, shipping, customer) and changes nothing in the store. On disconnect the copy is deleted.
Verification before every answer
Order number plus email address or postcode. Guest orders too, but never without this check.

Chatbot plugin or Talkward?
There are many chat and chatbot plugins for WordPress. The difference is not the chat, but what happens afterwards.

Questions about the WooCommerce integration
Question not listed? Write to us at hey@talkward.app.
Do I need a plugin?
Recommended, yes: download “Talkward for WooCommerce” in Talkward under Extensions and upload it in WordPress. It connects with one click, sends orders itself and adds the chat widget via a switch. Alternatively you can connect via the WooCommerce REST API with approval in the store.
Does it work behind Cloudflare?
Yes, always with the plugin: the store sends the orders to Talkward, Talkward never calls your store. Cloudflare, Sucuri, Wordfence or host firewalls do not need to whitelist anything.
What happens on connecting?
The plugin syncs the orders of the last 90 days once, with a progress bar. After that every new or changed order reaches Talkward within seconds.
Does the AI see guest orders too?
Yes. The customer record shows customers and guest orders. The AI checks order number plus email or postcode before it gives any details.
Can the AI send invoices?
No. WooCommerce has no invoices, plugins do that. Invoice copies are available with Billbee, Shopware or JTL-Wawi as data source.
How does the plugin get updates, and what happens on disconnect?
It asks Talkward for new versions and then appears under Dashboard › Updates. Disconnecting works in WordPress and in Talkward; Talkward then deletes its copy of the orders.
What does the WooCommerce integration cost?
Nothing extra. “WooCommerce as data source” is included from Professional, the plugin is free. All prices are provisional and net.
