Sound familiar? Three moments around the parcel.

The question is always the same. Only channel, language and time of day change.

  1. Saturday, 9 pm: “Where is my parcel?”

Three messages on WhatsApp. The reply comes on Monday, until then every customer asks twice more.

  2. Order number, ERP, tracking number, back to the chat.

For every shipping question your team opens the ERP, finds the order and copies the tracking link. Two minutes, a hundred times a month.

  3. “Où est ma commande ?”

The question comes in French, and the colleague who speaks French is off today.

Talkward answers the question itself: with status and ship date from your shop, the carrier’s tracking link and in the customer’s language.

How it worksShipment data from your source, link to the carrier.

Talkward does not query carriers. It reads status, ship date, carrier and tracking number from your source: JTL-Wawi via the connector, Billbee, WooCommerce or Shopware via their APIs. That becomes the reply with a tracking link; the customer sees the delivery progress at the carrier.

  • Verification before every answer

Order number plus email address or postcode. No match, no tracking number, however politely someone asks.

  • Tracking link per carrier

DHL, DPD, GLS and Hermes get a link to their tracking page. Other carriers are named with the tracking number.

  • Several parcels

Partial deliveries with several tracking numbers are listed in full, with ship date per parcel.

  • Lost? To the team.

If the customer says the parcel has vanished, the AI hands over with a summary. Investigation and replacement stay with humans.

Set up in four steps.

Shipment tracking is not a separate extension. It comes with the source and the AI agent.

  1. Connect a source

Connect JTL-Wawi, Billbee, WooCommerce or Shopware, read-only. From then on Talkward knows status and tracking numbers.

  2. Switch on the AI agent

From Professional. The agent gets the “order lookup” tool and knows when it has to ask for details.

  3. Add shipping times

In the knowledge base: delivery times per carrier, what to expect at “out for delivery”, when a parcel counts as lost.

  4. Ask a test question

Ask “Where is my parcel?” in the widget or via WhatsApp, give number plus postcode, check the reply.

Questions about shipment tracking

Question not listed? Write to us at hey@talkward.app.

Where does the AI get the tracking number?

From your data source: JTL-Wawi via the connector, Billbee, WooCommerce or Shopware via their APIs. The AI only answers if order number plus email or postcode match.

Does Talkward query DHL directly?

No. Talkward gives status and ship date from your shop and the carrier's tracking link. The customer then sees the delivery progress at the carrier.

Which carriers are recognised?

DHL, DPD, GLS and Hermes get a tracking link; other carriers are named with the tracking number.

What if the parcel is really lost?

Then the AI hands over to your team, with a summary and the order next to it. Investigation and replacement stay with humans.

Does it work on WhatsApp and email too?

Yes, in every channel the brand uses: web chat, email, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and Amazon.
